Given the unusual circumstances this year, JewishROC is going to help you fulfill the mitzvah of giving Mishloach Manot.
We will deliver any Mishloach Manot order in the Rockville, Potomac, Bethesda, or Silver Spring area.
We have many community members experiencing tremendous loneliness and isolation during these difficult times. If you would like to purchase a Mishloach Manot package for someone in this category, contact the office.

The half-shekel collected this time of year was used to sponsor the daily sacrifices and the maintenance of the Temple. The sages ordained to continue this mitzvah for the maintenance of the synagogue and daily services.
It is customary to give
$20 for every person in the household.

At Purim we are commanded to give charity to the poor. JewishROC organizes the collection of this money to be sent to Yeshivat HaNagev in Israel, the Yeshiva Rabbi Benamou attended, to support the students in need. (This donation should be made before Purim, so JewishROC can send the money to arrive by Purim.) Suggested donation is a minimum of $40 for two poor people.
